Statistics Canada has release their program of workshops for 2009-2010 and are now accepting registrations. Workshops descriptions and a registration form are attached.

I am pleased to announce the launch of a new consultation initiative – the 2011 Census dissemination discussion forum.

This online discussion forum has been created to facilitate the exchange of comments in order to explore ideas and suggestions for the 2011 Census dissemination strategy.

From January 29, 2009 until March 31, 2009, registered participants can have their comments posted on the census pages of the Statistics Canada website and engage with other users on dissemination-related discussion topics.

A component of the 2011 Census and geography dissemination consultation process, this online discussion forum offers users another opportunity to provide input into the planning of the 2011 Census and geography products and services line.

Statistics Canada is continuing the process of public consultations on the 2011 Census. They have just released the 2011 Census and Geography Dissemination Consultation Guide and invite "feedback on 2006 Census products and services and in contributing ideas and suggestions towards shaping the 2011 Census dissemination strategy."
