This unique conference will be a highly interactive, week-long exploration of the Island's environmental history featuring exciting keynote presenters who will place PEI 's history into its national and global context. Because we are planning a series of field trips through which you can interact with the people and environment of PEI, the conference is limited to one busload of participants. This will allow for a rich experience where you don't have to choose between concurrent sessions.
You are receiving this email because the organisers believe that you could bring valuable experience and expertise to share. Please put your bid in now for a conference seat, and let us know if you are interested in being a presenter or panelist, or just want to take advantage of the networking opportunity, be active in discussions and enjoy the field trips. Conference organizers will review all applications, and work to create workshops with your interests and willingness to participate in mind.
For those of you who are living on PEI and who may not have time to participate in all conference activities, day passes for morning sessions on campus will be available, and all evening keynote presentations will be open to the public. If you intend to come in on a day by day basis, please sign on at the website and let us know, so that we can plan accordingly.
